I made this last weekend and it was to die for! I toasted the coconut, left out the cinnamon and added in a few tablespoons of key lime juice. It was spectacular! I'll definitely be making it again :) Another Dorie recipe winner!

I have made Nigella's original version of Guinness Cake and people told me it was the best cake they had ever tasted so looking forward to trying out cupcake version for birthday treats at work! Anyone reading do not try making it with another beer as suggested by someone here - its the Guinness that makes it what it is! Sorry found it highly amusing that someone here asked if children could eat these - should someone with so little intelligence be allowed to have children!

I like your website. You can find pinchos or pintxos, all through the nord coast in Spain, in Asturias, Santander and Galicia. They are very good there as well.

These are fantastic. I used a chocolate stout instead of Guinness for a little more chocolaty flavor. I also used 1/3 cup milk for the glaze and just a splash of beer in the glaze. Next time I would cut the amount of cream cheese for the glaze in half. Great recipe and EASY!
