Big City Little Kitchen is a blog celebrating eating, baking, and New York City. The challenges of cooking in a tiny apartment are considerable but far outweighed by the richness of city life. This blog covers the trials that an apartment dweller goes through to fulfill her love of cooking.
Aside from detailing my own cooking-related successes and failures, I will write about dining experiences, the tools of the trade, and the associated literature, all of which make me probably too happy.
As for me… I currently live in Manhattan, but am not a native New Yorker. Part of the fun of the blog is covering my adjustment to a small apartment and the experiences that come along with it. I don’t have any sort of culinary degree, but I’ve been baking for years, have a lot of people around me to offer support, and I practice (a lot).
