We did it! It is as beautiful in person as in the photos, although my stars were not spaced as expertly. Next time I will use parchment paper as I don’t want to use a sharp knife on my tart pan and the tart fell apart when I tried to remove the whole thing. I will also cut back on the size of the meringue recipe since it made a LOT (I made meringue cookies out of the rest). Seriously a lot. I would also make a ganache with cream rather than milk as the filling never really set up and cream would soften the sweetness. And I will set the pan closer to the broiler as it took much longer to brown than the directions. It’s a lovely recipe and everyone enjoyed it. Thanks!
