In case you are not familiar with the Bloggies, they are the annual weblog awards. They are largely a popularity contest, but it’s a great way to recognize all the hard work that goes into a web site. It’s also one of my favorite ways to find out about sites that I don’t already read.
The Bloggies have a dedicated food category and last year some of my favorites, including 101 Cookbooks, were nominated. In past years Delicious Days and Smitten Kitchen have been recognized as well.
The nomination period for the 2008 Bloggies just opened and I wanted to make a short post to remind everyone to vote for their favorite sites. You don’t have to fill out the entire form, you can just nominate your favorite three food sites if you want! If you’re a dedicated BCLK reader you might want to vote for me for best food blog, best photography, best kept secret, or best new weblog, just to throw out a few ideas. The prize is only $20.07 so it’s all about having fun!
